The Umasbamba community is known for the beauty of their fabrics, reflection of the culture, traditions and dreams of the Andean man. It results from its particular geography, its cultural mix and the adjustment of ancient gastronomic techniques to modern cuisine. Peru is also known for being the biggest genetic center of the world, with more than 30 kinds of corns, 15 kinds of tomatoes, 4000 variety of potatoes, 650 fruit species and more than 2000 sorts of fish. The Incas have handed us ancestral products and cooking techniques, allowing us to savour - during these Peru Holidays with the Ethnotourism module - ancient quinoa with a slight peanut taste, as well as a 8000 years-old potato.
